Meet Emily
Emily’s background is broad and deeply rooted in residential construction and design. Her interest sparked at a young age while following her father, a contractor, to job sites, his warehouse shop, and the hardware store. You may have even spotted her on top of a roof laying out shingles! This hands-on construction experience helped guide her into making the decision to pursue a career in interior design.
After graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in Design Studies, she worked for the family construction business as a designer. More recently she worked as a staff interior designer for NorthSouth Design in Parkersburg, WV for the last 3 years. Emily‘s experiences have driven her passion of bringing a space to life with her laid-back, clean & cozy style. She loves creating beautiful and functional spaces that reflect those who occupy it.
Clients appreciate her ability to bring designs to life through the use of advanced 3D renderings and her ability to manage and facilitate large projects with open lines of communication.
In late 2018, Emily and her husband Robert relocated to Powell, OH where they reside with their 4-year-old daughter, 1-year-old son, and Goldendoodle. If you are ready to work together, fill out the client intake form below.

In the process of making our new home our own, our decision to work with Emily has been one of my very favorites thus far! I was overwhelmed to decorate my new dining room from the ground up and hired Emily to provide remote design services for the space. I quickly went from being overwhelmed to feeling excited and enthusiastic about the process! Her expertise was crucial in making the space perfect for so many reasons! I have really enjoyed our calls – she is so personable and professional!
Working with Emily has been a pleasure. We expanded our kitchen and tore down a wall so it was a total makeover. From our initial meeting to discuss ideas through the entire renovation, Emily was responsive and always had a solution for any issues we encountered. We could not be more pleased with her design and we definitely recommend her and if the opportunity arises we will utilize her services again. In fact, we have already recommended Emily to a couple of our friends.
